What's Happening?
France has placed an order for 7,000 Zetros logistic trucks from Arquus and Daimler Truck, as announced in a press release on January 15. The vehicles, which are PT6T Zetros six-tonne 6x6 logistic trucks, are set to be produced and delivered over a span
of more than ten years. This initiative is part of a broader program aimed at modernizing the French Army's logistics and tactical capabilities, particularly for high-intensity operations. The trucks will be built using Daimler Truck's 6x6 chassis, while Arquus will handle equipment provision, in-service support, maintenance, and life-cycle support throughout France. The production of the basic vehicles will occur at Daimler Truck's facilities in Wörth am Rhein, Germany, and Molsheim, France, with Arquus managing militarization and systems integration at its sites in Limoges, Garchizy, and Saint-Nazaire, France.
