Amazon One Medical has announced the expansion of its Pay-Per-Visit service to include care for children aged 2 to 11. This service allows parents to connect with certified family care providers for a flat
fee, without requiring an Amazon Prime or One Medical membership, or insurance. The service starts at $29 for a message-only visit and $49 for a video chat with a provider. It covers a limited range of conditions such as pink eye, lice, common skin issues, and bug bites, along with prescription refills for EpiPen and asthma. Parents must first determine if their child's symptoms are treatable under the service's conditions list, select the visit type, and fill out an intake form with the child's medical history. After the visit, a full treatment plan is provided, and medications can be filled via Amazon Pharmacy or another pharmacy.
