What's Happening?
The city of Berwyn is set to host its annual Pride Walk on June 27, celebrating inclusivity and LGBTQ+ pride. The event will take place in the historic Depot District, starting at James Boyce Irish Pub and concluding at East Avenue. Supported by Bungalo+,
the Berwyn Development Corporation, and the City of Berwyn, the walk aims to foster community engagement and combat social isolation within the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, several local students have been named National Merit Scholars, receiving scholarships as part of the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These students, from various high schools, plan to pursue studies in fields such as chemistry, applied mathematics, medicine, and engineering.
