Amir Harash has been awarded the 2025 Sapir Prize for Literature for his novel 'Bereavement and Failure and Zombies'. The award ceremony took place at the National Library of Israel, marking the 25th anniversary of the prize's founding. The Sapir Prize,

The prize includes a cash award of NIS 180,000 and support for translation into Arabic and another foreign language. In the debut category, Roni Partchek won for her novel 'Sitara', set in 1970s India, which also received a cash prize and translation support.
