What's Happening?
The YMCA of North Central Ohio is hosting the Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive on July 25 at the Mansfield YMCA. The initiative aims to collect school supplies for children in the YMCA Child Care program, which serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years
old. Community members are encouraged to donate items such as backpacks, crayons, pencils, and other classroom essentials. Those unable to attend can leave donations at the Mansfield or Shelby YMCA locations. The event will also feature food vendors, and attendees can sponsor a backpack filled with supplies for $30. Nicolle Cherry, vice president of youth development, emphasizes the importance of providing children with the tools they need to succeed in school.
