Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Foundation, Inc., a pivotal organization that has significantly contributed to student success through scholarships,
emergency grants, and partnerships. Karen Kohler, the executive director of the CVTC Foundation and vice president of Institutional Advancement, is retiring at the end of October after over three decades of service. Kohler joined CVTC in 1993 and has held various roles, contributing to instruction, workforce training, student services, and administration. Her leadership has been instrumental in the Foundation's growth, which now awards over $1.5 million annually in scholarships and student support, while also funding innovative learning spaces and new academic opportunities.
