Airbus has entered into a formal agreement with Mubadala Investment, a company based in Abu Dhabi, to advance its efforts in securing a deal for the A400M aircraft in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement was signed during the Dubai Airshow and announced
on November 21. As part of the deal, Mubadala's Strata aircraft parts-making unit will receive work packages related to the A400M. Airbus had previously indicated its readiness to collaborate with local partners at the Dubai gathering. The company aims to secure an order for 8-10 A400M aircraft, while Embraer is also pursuing a deal with the UAE for KC-390 airlifters. Additionally, Airbus has committed to supporting Mubadala's initiative to establish a National Aerospace Training Center of Excellence in Al Ain, which aims to foster local talent development.
