What's Happening?
The towns of Basalt, Carbondale, and Parachute in Colorado held municipal elections on April 7, 2026. In Basalt, three town council members were elected: Greg Shaffran, Elyse Hottel, and Angela Anderson. Carbondale elected Erica Sparhawk as mayor and three trustees:
