What's Happening?
Solerity is recruiting Mid to Senior Machine Learning Engineers and AI Model Developers for a Federal program set to begin in late August/September 2026. The role involves developing and integrating machine learning models within a secure Impact Level
5 environment, supporting Controlled Unclassified Information. Engineers will collaborate with government and technical teams to build AI/ML capabilities, establish evaluation processes, and support mission outcomes. Responsibilities include designing, training, and deploying machine learning models, collaborating with stakeholders, and integrating human baseline results into model evaluation.
Why It's Important?
This recruitment effort highlights the growing demand for machine learning expertise in government programs, particularly those involving sensitive information. The integration of AI/ML capabilities in federal operations can enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and support national security objectives. By establishing repeatable evaluation processes and model selection methodologies, Solerity aims to ensure that AI technologies are effectively aligned with mission outcomes, potentially leading to more informed and strategic government operations.
What's Next?
As the program launches, Solerity will focus on building production-ready AI/ML capabilities that directly support mission objectives. Engineers will work closely with government stakeholders to define AI/ML problems and success metrics, ensuring that the technologies developed are both effective and secure. The program's success could lead to further integration of AI technologies in federal operations, potentially influencing future government strategies and policies regarding AI and machine learning.
