Chinese company October4128 (BD) Ltd has announced a significant investment of $19.72 million to establish a high-end garments manufacturing factory at the Bepza Economic Zone (BEPZA EZ) in Mirsharai, Chattogram, Bangladesh. The agreement was formalized
at a signing ceremony held at the Bepza Complex in Dhaka, attended by Major General Mohammad Moazzem Hossain, executive chairman of Bepza, and representatives from both Bepza and October4128 (BD) Ltd. The factory is set to produce approximately 3 million pieces of high-end apparel annually, including ski and snow sports gear, insulated winter coats, and various types of activewear. This project is expected to create employment opportunities for 2,788 Bangladeshi nationals. The Bepza Economic Zone has become a prominent investment destination, with 49 companies committing to invest a total of around $1.08 billion, six of which have already commenced production.
