Morgan Sindall has been awarded a £126 million contract by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) as part of its contingency response programme (CRP). Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure will work on CRP Package 6, which includes new-build construction at Blackpool Court House and maintenance work at HMPs Stoke Heath, Winchester, and The Mount. The contract follows the collapse of ISG last September, which had been working on multiple prisons and MoJ sites. Morgan Sindall will assume responsibility for design coordination and act as the principal contractor and designer, with construction scheduled to run until March 2030.
