Robert LeRoy Strom, affectionately known as 'Uncle Bob,' passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on April 13, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI. Born on September 18, 1938, in Chicago, IL, Strom spent his life in various Illinois towns before
settling in Bristol, WI, in 1994. He was a well-known baker in the Chicagoland area, having operated Napoli’s Pizza in Round Lake, IL, and Poppy’s Bakery in Rockton, IL. Strom was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol and was involved in community activities such as the Round Lake Men’s Club and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his five children, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a sister, among other relatives and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for April 20, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol, WI.
