What's Happening?
Penn State Extension is hosting a training session on January 22 in Chambersburg to help produce growers comply with the FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rules. The training will cover good agricultural
practices, food safety, and the development of farm food-safety plans. Participants will learn about produce safety, worker health, soil amendments, and postharvest handling. Successful completion of the course will earn participants a certificate from the Association of Food and Drug Officials.
