Veolia, in collaboration with the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA), has launched the Veolia Workforce Academy North America. This initiative is a free, fully digital workforce training and employment pathway
program aimed at expanding access to careers in the water sector across the United States. The program is designed to address the skills gap in the water industry by providing training that aligns with state certification requirements, enabling participants to enter and advance in water and wastewater careers. The initiative is part of Veolia's broader commitment to environmental security and community support, aiming to create over 10,000 new skilled jobs annually to replace retiring workers and meet the sector's evolving technological demands.
