AdventHealth, a hospital system in Colorado, has initiated a surgical technologist apprenticeship program to address a shortage of surgical staff in the Denver metro area. The program aims to train current clinical employees for surgical tech roles, allowing

The first group of five apprentices began their training in February, with plans for a second group to start in July.
