What's Happening?
Nine University of Mount Union students participated in paid summer internships through the University’s Center for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CDSAI). These internships provided students with opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge
to real-world projects, working with both university faculty and external partners like AllStaff and Grai Med. The projects spanned various fields, including developing AI models for medical imaging, organizing and visualizing data on PFAS compounds, and creating an AI-assisted educational platform called ClarifAI. The program aims to enhance students' technical skills, professional competencies, and exposure to the transformative impact of data analytics and artificial intelligence across industries and research.
