What's Happening?
The U.S. Department of State has approved a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) of up to 3,350 Extended Range Attack Munition (ERAM) missiles to Ukraine. The sale includes Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System modules and Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Modules for enhanced GPS signal access. Ancillary items such as missile containers, launch pylons, and training are also part of the package. Funding is provided by Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and U.S. Foreign Military Financing. Zone 5 Technologies, the primary vendor, bases the ERAM on its Rusty Dagger cruise missile platform, offering multiple launch options and advanced navigation capabilities.
