Ameresco, Inc., a prominent energy infrastructure solutions provider, has partnered with the Bradford Exempted Village School District in Ohio to implement a rooftop photovoltaic solar installation. This project aims to deliver on-site renewable energy to the district's
academic building, significantly reducing energy costs and carbon emissions. The solar system, backed by a grant from the State of Ohio Department of Development, is expected to provide approximately 365,000 kWh of annual energy savings, offsetting 46% of the district's energy usage. The initiative is part of Bradford EVSD's broader decarbonization efforts, which include purchasing electric buses and constructing a greenhouse. Ameresco will oversee the project, providing engineering, procurement, and construction services, with completion anticipated in 2026.
