What's Happening?
The Global Chamber's Young Global Leaders Initiative (YGLi) is a program designed to empower young professionals worldwide through mentorship, events, and a dedicated membership network. The initiative
supports young leaders by providing expert resources, leadership training, and global connections. As part of this initiative, the Young Global Leaders Certificate Program offers monthly sessions on various topics such as leadership, branding, innovation, and well-being, all led by global experts. Participants who complete the program receive a certificate of attendance. The program for 2025-2026 includes nine expert-led sessions, each lasting between one to one and a quarter hours, with recordings available for later viewing. After completing the sessions, participants are required to submit a capstone project that reflects their learning and personal growth.
Why It's Important?
The Young Global Leaders Initiative is significant as it fosters the development of future leaders who are equipped to drive positive change both locally and globally. By providing young professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary for leadership, the program helps cultivate a new generation of leaders who can address global challenges with innovative solutions. This initiative not only benefits the participants but also has a broader impact on communities and businesses by promoting responsible leadership and sustainable practices. The program's emphasis on diverse topics such as financial literacy, emotional intelligence, and sustainable leadership ensures that participants are well-rounded and prepared to tackle complex issues.
What's Next?
Participants in the Young Global Leaders Certificate Program will continue to engage in monthly sessions and work on their capstone projects. These projects will allow them to apply their learning in real-world scenarios, potentially leading to impactful initiatives in their respective fields. The program's structure encourages ongoing collaboration and networking among participants, fostering a community of leaders who can support each other's growth and development. As the program progresses, it is expected to attract more young professionals seeking to enhance their leadership skills and make a positive impact on the world.
