Governor Tina Kotek has announced the opening of the application portal for Oregon's Regional Infrastructure Fund (RIF), which includes a $10 million investment aimed at supporting infrastructure projects in small communities and tribes. The fund, part
of the state's 2026 economic development package, is designed to help communities with populations under 25,000 improve their infrastructure to attract new employers and support economic growth. The RIF offers both construction and planning grants, with applications open until September 16, 2026.
