AirBorneo, a state-owned airline established by the Sarawak government, is set to appoint Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin as its CEO in January 2026. Megat Ardian, formerly the chief aviation and strategy
officer at Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), will replace Bruno Navet. AirBorneo plans to acquire MASwings Sdn Bhd and aims to begin operations by March 2026, focusing on rural routes in Sabah and Sarawak.
