He was also an enthusiast of microbreweries and golf, having founded the Insulators Local 26 Annual Golf Outing in 2000. Tim is survived by his wife Karen Thomas Klipfel and other family members. The family plans to celebrate his life at a later date, with donations in his memory directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
