What's Happening?
The FoodHaus Fellowship for Action 2026-2027 is now accepting applications for its nine-month program designed to foster leadership and innovation in food systems. The fellowship supports participants in developing food-systems projects or interventions,
combining systems thinking, leadership development, and personal reflection. The program includes two intensive in-person weeks in Switzerland, supplemented by online learning and coaching. Participants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, with the aim of creating a more regenerative, equitable, and sustainable food future. The program begins on October 12, 2026, and applications are open until August 31, 2026.
Why It's Important?
Food systems are integral to health, livelihoods, climate resilience, and social relationships. Transforming these systems requires innovative approaches that consider complexity and interconnectedness. The FoodHaus Fellowship aims to equip participants with the skills needed to lead change in food systems, fostering collaboration across sectors and cultures. By supporting the development of concrete initiatives, the fellowship contributes to addressing global challenges related to food production, distribution, and consumption. This initiative is particularly relevant as the world seeks sustainable solutions to food security and environmental issues.
What's Next?
The fellowship will commence with an online phase followed by an intensive week in Switzerland. Participants will engage in project development, leadership training, and peer learning. The program will conclude with a final in-person week in Switzerland, where participants will present their initiatives. The fellowship aims to create a network of changemakers who can continue to collaborate and innovate beyond the program. As applications are considered on a rolling basis, interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly.
