L3Harris Technologies Inc. has been selected by NASA to contribute to the development of the Habitable Worlds Observatory, a new space telescope project aimed at directly imaging Earth-like planets. This
initiative is part of NASA's search-for-life mission, with L3Harris being one of seven companies awarded a three-year, fixed-price contract to advance technologies for the observatory. The telescope is designed to study the chemical composition of atmospheres of planets around stars similar to our sun, seeking signs of life.
