DAERA Minister Andrew Muir has launched the Farming for Sustainability - Innovation Scheme, part of the Sustainable Agriculture Programme. This initiative aims to support farmers in adopting innovative
solutions to enhance environmental performance and productivity. The scheme includes Innovation Visits, Innovation Farms, and Innovation Partnerships to help farmers overcome barriers to implementing new technologies. The first Innovation Visit is scheduled for March 2026 at Harper Adams University and Grosvenor Farms, focusing on nutrient management solutions for dairy systems. Applications for this visit close on January 6, 2026.
