The London Internet Exchange (LINX) has announced that Angani Ltd, a leading cloud services provider in East Africa, has joined its LINX Nairobi interconnection hub. Angani, known for delivering locally hosted applications and digital services, initially
connected to LINX Mombasa in 2025. By adding LINX Nairobi to its network strategy, Angani aims to enhance its ability to peer across key locations, thereby supporting low-latency and reliable services for its customers. LINX Nairobi, launched in 2023, offers an interconnected and resilient Internet Exchange Point (IXP) accessible from multiple data center locations in Kenya's capital. The addition of Angani to LINX Nairobi is expected to strengthen the network's capacity to handle increased traffic, which has grown twenty-fold over the past year, reaching a peak of over 330Gbps.
