Singapore has been ranked as having the world's strongest passport in 2026, according to the Henley Passport Index. Singaporean passport holders can travel to 192 destinations without needing a visa in advance. This places Singapore ahead of Japan, South
Korea, and the United Arab Emirates, which also rank highly. The index measures global travel freedom based on the number of destinations accessible without a visa. The UAE has notably climbed the rankings by adding 153 visa-free destinations over the past two decades. At the other end of the spectrum, Afghanistan holds the weakest passport, with access to only 22 destinations.
