Panama has been named the best country for expats for the third consecutive year, according to the Expat Insider survey conducted by InterNations. The survey, which included responses from nearly 8,000 expats of 162 nationalities, evaluated countries
based on five indices: working abroad, personal finance, quality of life, expat essentials, and ease of settling in. Panama ranked highly for ease of settling in and expat essentials, with 87% of expats expressing satisfaction with their life in the country. Mexico and Thailand followed Panama in the rankings, with Mexico excelling in ease of settling in and Thailand noted for its low cost of living. European countries like Spain, Portugal, and Luxembourg also made it into the top 10, with Spain ranking highest in Europe for quality of life.
