The Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art facility in downtown Sarasota, Florida. This expansion is part of FCS's ongoing efforts to improve cancer care delivery in the region. The new location, situated
within the Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion on the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System campus, spans approximately 60,000 square feet. It significantly increases the capacity of the previous Sarasota location by adding over 40,500 square feet. The facility now includes 27 exam rooms and 80 infusion chairs, enhancing patient comfort and convenience. The expansion also allows FCS to offer advanced treatments such as bispecific therapy, an innovative immunotherapy that aids the immune system in targeting cancer cells. The facility is designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on efficiency and compassion.
