The Ukraine Ministry of Defense has announced an ambitious plan to transfer 100% of its frontline logistics operations to unmanned robotic systems. This initiative is part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov revealed that the country plans to contract 25,000 Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) in the first half of 2026, doubling the number from the previous year. These robotic systems are crucial for logistics and evacuation tasks on the battlefield. In March alone, over 9,000 missions were conducted using these systems. The shift to robotic logistics is driven by a need to address personnel shortages and reduce casualties in high-intensity combat zones.
