What's Happening?
The Logan County Farm Bureau has announced the recipients of its 2026 Agriculture Impact Fund grants. This initiative, now in its seventh year, supports projects that promote agricultural growth and youth development in the county. The grants are funded
through the Agriculture Impact Fund Reverse Raffle. This year's beneficiaries include the Benjamin Logan FFA, which will host a spring festival, and the Benjamin Logan Garden Club, which plans to revitalize its school greenhouse. Additionally, the OSU Extension Logan County 4-H will receive funding to enhance livestock handling programs, and the Logan County Agricultural Society will upgrade farm operation facilities.
Why It's Important?
The Agriculture Impact Fund grants play a crucial role in fostering agricultural education and community engagement in Logan County. By supporting initiatives that enhance agricultural practices and youth involvement, the grants contribute to the sustainability and growth of the local agricultural sector. These projects not only provide educational opportunities for young people but also strengthen community ties and promote awareness of agricultural issues. The funding helps ensure that future generations are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to continue the county's agricultural legacy.
