In Mysuru, a realtor named Lokesh was kidnapped by a group of individuals but was rescued within hours by the Vijayanagar police. The incident occurred on the night of December 6 when Lokesh was on his way home. He was intercepted by a gang who assaulted
him, used chilli powder to incapacitate him, and forced him into their vehicle. The kidnappers demanded a ransom by making Lokesh call his wife. However, his wife promptly informed the police, who quickly traced the kidnappers' location and apprehended four suspects near Hampapura in K.R. Nagar taluk. One accomplice remains at large.
