TITANS Unit detectives in Nashville arrested Jaderius Terrell, a 28-year-old convicted felon, on Monday on Gallatin Pike North. Terrell was wanted on outstanding warrants stemming from an August domestic violence incident where he allegedly punched his
11-year-old son and pointed a handgun at the child's mother, then fled from responding officers. He was initially charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, being a felon in possession of a weapon, and evading arrest. During his arrest on Monday, Terrell attempted to flee and resisted, and was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The handgun was reportedly stolen in March during an aggravated stalking incident for which Terrell had previously been charged, though those charges were dismissed. Terrell now faces additional charges including evading and resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license, misdemeanor and felony weapon possession, marijuana possession, theft of a firearm, and drug paraphernalia. He is currently held on a $110,000 bond, and federal gun charges are anticipated.
