Guam Community College (GCC) has inaugurated its new Workforce Development Center in Barrigada, aiming to enhance local training opportunities in fields such as construction, maritime transportation, ship
repair, and advanced manufacturing. The center was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 30, 2025. GCC President Mary Okada emphasized the center's role in preparing students and residents for in-demand careers, thereby strengthening Guam's workforce capacity and economic resilience.
