The Algoma Workforce Investment Corporation (AWIC) is seeking expressions of interest from individuals to join its volunteer Board of Directors. AWIC is a community-based, non-profit organization that supports workforce development initiatives to strengthen
the economic and social well-being of communities across the Algoma District. The organization is looking for board members with experience in business and industry, as well as youth representatives aged 16-29. The board aims to guide workforce development priorities and support local employers, job seekers, youth, and emerging industries.
