K Shanmugam. The scam utilizes deepfake technology and fake news sites to promote a fraudulent investment program called 'Immediate Era.' Threat actors have used Google Ads to redirect victims to a Mauritius-registered forex platform, employing various techniques to restrict access to Singaporean users. This scam highlights the increasing sophistication of cybercriminals who leverage AI-powered tools to deceive and exploit individuals.
