Mildred H. Cook, a long-time resident of Hickory Hills, Illinois, passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Cook, Sr., and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Her passing was announced in an obituary published by the Chicago Tribune. Mildred was known for her deep family ties, being the loving mother of Hugh M. Cook, Jr., and the late Norman T. Cook. She was also a cherished sister and aunt. The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects during visitation hours scheduled for December 29 and 30, 2025, at Zarzycki Manor Chapels in Willow Springs, Illinois. Her funeral service will be held on December 30, followed by interment at Mt. Glenwood West Cemetery.
