Vestergaard Sàrl and Harvestfield Industries Limited have initiated a joint venture named SNG Health to manufacture advanced mosquito nets in Nigeria. The facility, located in Ogun State, will produce
PermaNet Dual, a mosquito net designed to combat insecticide resistance. The production is set to begin in April 2026, with an annual capacity of 10 million nets, creating 600 skilled jobs. This initiative is part of Nigeria's effort to lead malaria control in West Africa, supported by various stakeholders including the Federal Ministry of Health and the World Bank. The project aims to address Nigeria's significant malaria burden, which accounts for a quarter of global cases.
