What's Happening?
A team of 23 students from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands has developed Stella Juva, a solar-powered ambulance designed to provide healthcare services in remote areas. The vehicle, which runs entirely on solar energy, is equipped
with medical equipment such as an X-ray machine, ultrasound scanner, and vaccine cooler. It can travel up to 444 miles on a sunny day without relying on fuel or grid connections. The ambulance is set to be tested in Kenya, where it will serve as a mobile clinic in areas lacking reliable electricity.
