The agreement, originally established in January 2020, was renewed following a procurement process where Astron was selected as the preferred supplier. The venture utilizes approximately 8.9 million liters of diesel annually, with the new agreement's maximum aggregate value attributable to Merafe capped at R365 million, representing 13% of Merafe's market capitalization.
