The seventh China-Africa Cooperation (CAC) Africa Summit has commenced in Nairobi, focusing on strengthening agricultural partnerships and addressing food security challenges through technological cooperation. The summit, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sub-Council of Chemical Industry, Kenya’s Pest Control Products Board, and Egerton University, features around 30 exhibitors showcasing advanced agrochemicals, bio-pesticides, specialty fertilizers, and farming equipment. Jalen Fan, deputy director at CCPIT CHEM, highlighted China's agricultural collaboration with Africa as a model for South-South cooperation, aiming to introduce high-quality agricultural solutions for sustainable development. The summit includes policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, researchers, and farmers from China, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and other regional partners.
