Judith Ann Hayes, a resident of Prospect Heights, Illinois, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 9, 1944, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Harold J. 'Bud' Palm and Catherine M. (O’Connor) Palm. Hayes graduated from St.
Francis High School in Wheaton and worked for 16 years at United Airlines' worldwide headquarters in Chicago. She also held administrative roles at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights for over five years. Hayes was deeply involved in her church community, leading the religious education program at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Goodland, Indiana, for a decade. She is survived by her two children, Michael J. Hayes and Matthew R. Hayes, as well as her brother and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for January 12, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, with interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois.
