Walter A. Kalinka Jr., a resident of Palos Hills, Illinois, passed away peacefully at the age of 80, surrounded by his family. Known affectionately as 'Wally,' he was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Kalinka was actively involved in his community,
notably serving as President of the Southwest Lodge #2558 of the Order Sons of Italy. His family, including his wife Maria and children Laura, Cinthia, Michael, and Robert, along with his grandchildren, mourn his passing. A visitation is scheduled for July 8, 2026, at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service and mass at Sacred Heart Church on July 9, 2026. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
