AgriFutures Australia has announced the opening of applications for its new People and Capability Program, which aims to address workforce shortages in the agricultural sector. The program offers up to $200,000 in funding to support initiatives that attract,
develop, and retain skilled workers in both levied and emerging industries. The program includes two grant streams: Industry Workforce Program Grants of up to $25,000 and Capacity Building Grants of up to $10,000. These grants are designed to help industries tailor workforce solutions to their specific needs, focusing on skill development and leadership capability. The initiative is part of a broader effort to build a resilient, industry-led agricultural sector that can support long-term growth.
