The University of South Alabama has appointed Natalie Fox as the CEO of USA Health, succeeding Owen Bailey who retired on August 1. Fox has been serving as interim CEO since Bailey's retirement and previously held the position of chief physician enterprise
officer. Her career at USA Health began in 2011, where she also served as chief nursing officer. USA Health, founded in 1963, is recognized as the only university health system along the upper Gulf Coast, employing over 7,200 staff including 180 academic physicians. Fox is a three-time graduate of USA’s nursing program and has been instrumental in managing a network of over 700 healthcare providers.
