Celestyal has introduced its ship, Celestyal Discovery, to the Arabian Gulf, marking a significant expansion in the region. The ship, which accommodates 1,360 guests, began its operations on December 12, offering new three-, four-, and seven-night 'Iconic
Arabia' cruises from Abu Dhabi. The launch was celebrated with plaque exchange ceremonies in several locations, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, as well as Doha in Qatar and Khasab in Oman. Celestyal's CEO, Chris Theophilides, and other executives participated in a mangrove planting initiative in Abu Dhabi, supporting the UAE's conservation efforts. The introduction of Celestyal Discovery, alongside Celestyal Journey, represents a 211% increase in capacity for the cruise line in the Arabian Gulf, highlighting the growing demand for cruise experiences in the region.
