What's Happening?
In Palmetto Bay, Florida, local businesses and nonprofits organized a back-to-school event providing free supplies and services to students. The event, held at The Cut Stop barbershop, offered backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and other essentials
to students from kindergarten to 12th grade. The initiative aimed to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure students start the school year prepared. The event also supported children from LSF Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services, which assists those facing trauma or instability.
