Jamaica has been announced as the host for the 20th Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) in 2026. This announcement was made by Indar Weir, Barbados’ Agriculture Minister and Chair of the 121st Special Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) on Agriculture, during the conclusion of the 19th CWA held in St. Kitts and Nevis. Established in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), the event aims to emphasize the importance of agriculture and rural life in the region.
