The community in West Caln Township is mourning the death of Pennsylvania State Trooper Cpl. Timothy O'Connor, who was fatally shot during a traffic stop. The incident occurred when O'Connor pulled over an erratic driver, later identified as Jesse Nathan
Elks, who subsequently died by suicide. In tribute, fellow officers have adorned O'Connor's police SUV with black and purple bunting, and local residents have been leaving flowers at the Embreeville barracks.
