What's Happening?
In celebration of the United States' 250th birthday, Robin Young, host of Here & Now, joined Jeremiah Poope, a revolutionary reenactor from the Freedom Trail Foundation, on a tour of Boston's historic landmarks. The tour featured 11 significant sites,
including the Old Granary Burial Ground, the Old South Meeting House, Boston Common, the Old State House, and the site of the Boston Massacre. Poope provided insights into both well-known events, such as Paul Revere's midnight ride, and lesser-known contributions by women and Black Bostonians during the American Revolution.
